I don’t know about you, but right now I have more apples than I know what to do with! We went apple picking twice in September and between the 4 of us we picked over 13 pounds of apples! I have been making apple crisps, applesauce, and apple muffins in an effort to use them all up. Today I want to share a recipe for the Maple Walnut Apple Crisp that I made for my family. It was a hit! My husband and BOTH kids gobbled it up and asked me to make another one! Continue reading
I loved Sloppy Joes as a little girl! It’s one of those comfort foods that can instantly bring you back to your childhood. Last week I shared a recipe for Turkey Sloppy Joes in my Free 5 Day Fitness and Nutrition Group and today I want to share it with you! This recipe comes straight from the Fixate cookbook written by Autumn Calabrese (the trainer who developed the 21 Day Fix and 21 Day Fix Extreme programs). This recipe is healthy and my entire family gave it two thumbs up!
Are you a peanut butter lover like me? If you are, you need to try these healthy Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip muffins. Fellow fit mom and owner of Blissful Eats, Nicole Culver, shared her recipe for these peanut butter chocolate chip muffins with me. Since I love the combination of peanut butter and chocolate, I was super excited to try these. They are delicious, made with healthy ingredients, and kid approved! Today I am sharing the recipe with you (with her permission of course!) and I hope you give them a try!
It’s that time of year for baking Holiday cookies and I am super excited to share this cookie recipe with you. These cookies are gluten free, dairy free, soy free, and free of refined sugar. But they are not free of taste! Plus they are made with ingredients that you probably have in your kitchen and you don’t even need a hand mixer to make them! Perfect for busy moms looking for a quick healthy snack for their kids (or themselves!). They are also a great gluten free cookie to bring to your next cookie exchange party.

The peanut butter lover in me was so excited when I was given the opportunity to test out and create recipes using the Peanut Butter & Co’s powdered peanut butter, MightyNut. Continue reading
