We went berry picking over the weekend and we picked over 6 pounds of blueberries! The first thing that my family wanted me to make was blueberry crisp. Well, I used to make my blueberry crisp with sugar…and a lot of it. Eek! I experimented and came up with a healthier alternative and I wanted to share it with you.
So first off, look at the size of these tasty blueberries! They are literally the size of a quarter!

They are delicious too! If you have the opportunity to pick your own blueberries, you should do it. The kids had a great time! It has become one of our family traditions and they really look forward to it.

So now for the recipe! This is a simple recipe to throw together and you will probably have most, if not all of all, of these ingredients in your pantry.
