This is a snack that the whole family will love!! Even my picky toddler gobbles this up and my 6 year old eats it by the spoonful! It’s the perfect after school snack and can be easily packed in your child’s lunch box along with fruits such as apple slices, strawberries, pears, bananas and more. This healthy and delicious dip can be made quickly and uses ingredients that are generally found in your refrigerator and pantry. That is one of the things I love about this recipe…I can make it when my kids are looking for a healthy snack without having to run out to the grocery store! I also love that it’s full of protein and probiotics!
I often enlist the help of my kids when I make this dip. It’s a great way to get the kids involved in preparing their own food. My kids love to help me in the kitchen when I am cooking or baking and I try to include them as much as I can. I find that when they make their own food they feel a sense of accomplishment and are more likely to eat it! They are also my taste testers and harshest critics! They give this recipe two thumbs up!
Peanut Butter and Yogurt Fruit Dip
- 1 container of vanilla flavored Greek yogurt ( I use Chobani Simply 100 Greek yogurt)
- 1 Tbsp 100% pure maple syrup
- 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 3 Tbsp natural peanut butter
Combine all of the ingredients in a mixing bowl. Use a mixer to blend the ingredients and transfer to a serving bowl. Enjoy with your favorite fresh fruit. Store remaining dip in the refrigerator.
Tip: I would double the recipe if you are planning on making this dip to bring to a party! It will be gone quickly and everyone will be asking for more!
I hope your family enjoys this tasty dip as much as we do!
